Messmore and Damon Santa Rocket

Messmore and Damon was a New York company specializing in large display sculptures for theatrical scenery, World's Fair exhibits, etc. Probably their best know work was for their "The World a Million Years Ago" prehistoric animal attraction at the 1933 Century of Progress Exhibition in Chicago. I came upon this piece of artwork by the company recently but have no provenance on it. I believe it to be concept art for a Christmas store window display.
