Hug Your Cat Day is one of those holidays that seems to have no readily apparent attribution behind it and shows up on Internet calender pages of questionable authority. Indeed, I've found three different dates listed as Hug Your Cat Day. But that's OK - I just really wanted to use this picture of my mom's cat.
