Arlo Guthrie to Perform Thursday at Salina's Stiefel Theatre

Folk icon Arlo Guthrie will perform at the Stiefel Theatre in Salina, KS, this Thursday night, March 17, at 7:30 PM. I last saw him at the Crystal Theatre In Okemah, Oklahoma, during the 2010 Woodyfest, hence the concert photos in this post.



Guthrie will be joined by his son, Abe, on keyboards and backing vocals.



Backing Guthrie will be the Burns Sisters.



If you attend, don't take your seat too quickly. Drink in the Art Deco interior of this 1931 theatre. (another photo)



The highlight, for me, of any Arlo Guthrie concert is the song "City of New Orleans" but his 'tween song story-telling is fun as well. See also a post I published in 2009.
