Ace must be at the Rail Haven Motel in Springfield, MO in this shot.
Nibbly Giblets' answer is as correct as his photo is gastonomically...evocative. Ace was spending the night at the Rail Haven Motel after dining at Steak N Shake and before a jaunt on SW MO Rt66.
