The trees haven't even all fully turned in Hutchinson, Kansas, when a rigorous pelting of large snowflakes found them on Wednesday night, November 2, 2011.
I was in Village Inn at about 29th and North Main when the snow started and just had to get a quick video. Check out the variety of color temperatures from all the artificial lights:

Of course, snowflakes don't merely fall, they dance and whirl as gravity duels with the currents and eddies of the wind.
I wanted a street scene with a classic period slice of Main Street so I headed for my favorite local neon sign, that of Johnson Music near 5th and Main.
